Our office is located within the Embassy district, at 185 Jalan Ampang, across the street from the French Embassy and east of Ampang Park and Nikko Hotel.

How to get here

Public access is from Jalan Tun Razak or Jalan Ampang. Nearest bus stops are near Ampang Park shopping centre. If traveling via train (LRT), disembark at Ampang Park Station which is a short distance from the high commission.

Parking

We regret to inform you that there is no public parking space. Nearest available parking is at Ampang Park, Yow Chuan Plaza or Nikko Hotel and is in short walking distance.

Security

Due to the global threat currently posed by terrorism, and the targeting of embassies and high commissions, we do our utmost to ensure a safe and secure environment for your visit. 

Visitors to our office will have to go through the security checkpointat the entrance. Mobile phones and electronic devices are not allowed into the building.

Please co-operate with the security team as they conduct their checks and controls, each of which should take only a few minutes.  The security measures in place are for the benefit of all visitors and staff.

Public opening hours

We provide consular service for passport applications, birth and death certificates and other consular documentation. Hours are:

Monday to Friday:          0800 - 1200
Submission of applications, collection of documents and for general queries

Monday and Tuesday:   1330 - 1600
Only for collection of documents and for general queries. Submission of applications not available in the afternoon.

Our Visa Section is not open to the public and appointments can be made only for the purpose of entry clearance interviews.
