In 2005, the Foreign Commonwealth Office introduced a new method of receiving applications from Chevening Scholarship candidates online. The move was a response to the need for a more efficiently run scheme. Paper applications are no longer accepted.
The E-Chevening website is available to anyone that has access to the Internet and works with all web browsers. However, for better ease of use, E-Chevening is best accessed with higher speed internet connection and via the latest browsers - Internet Explorer 8 and Mozilla Firefox 3.5.
Applicants are required to complete the application form on-line. To access the form, you must create your own login and password. The system allows partial completion of an application so that you may return to complete the form. Applicants should remember their own password.
To keep record of your application, you are recommended to print out a copy before clicking the `submit’ button.
When all pages of the application have been completed you should submit your application. From this point forward you will no longer be able to log in. The applicants log-in and password will be deleted.
