UK Alumni Network

The UK Alumni Network (UKAN) is designed to help Malaysians stay in touch with the UK. The network was launched by HRH The Duke of York (Prince Andrew) at a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur in May 2001.

Free membership is available to all Malaysians with a UK qualification at advance diploma level or above.

UKAN helps members keep abreast of the latest developments in the UK in a wide variety of fields including science, technology, economics, politics, arts and culture.

The network provides a platform for members to exchange ideas and share similar interests through a variety of activities.

UKAN members receive information about UK events in Malaysia such as presentations and seminars, competitions and social gatherings.

They are also eligible to join the Job Club, an employment avenue established by the British Council to help Malaysians with UK qualifications secure employment quickly and efficiently.

Members also have access to services such as English courses, distance learning courses and support, examinations, seminars, trade missions, and other British High Commission and British Council services.

For further information and to register as a member visit the UK Alumni Network (UKAN) website.
